China Chapter Coordination Officer
China Chapter Coordination Officers assist the Managing Director China in managing the strategic execution of ACYA’s operations within Australia. The role involves assisting in the effective management of ACYA’s chapters and operations, in line with organisational strategies and policies.
Primary Responsibilities
Represent the ACYA National Executive to Chapter Presidents, as well as representing chapter concerns to the National President;
Support the development of Australian chapter events and ACYA's tentpole events such as ACELS and Game On!;
Assist Chapters in handover processes;
Support chapter grant acquittals; and
Represent ACYA in public forums, when required.
Requirements
Time commitment of ~3-5 hours/week;
Approachable and able to provide constructive feedback;
Experience on the leadership committee of an ACYA Chapter;
Experience managing stakeholder relations and partnerships;
Ability to work well managing small teams;
Demonstrated event management experience; and
(Optional but preferred) Experience managing across cultures, particularly with respect to the Australia-China relationship
