ACYA - Publications Director

The Publications Director is an appointed position on the ACYA National Executive and is a member of ACYA’s Communications Team. They are responsible for supporting ACYA's website and social media as well as developing key documents.

Primary Responsibilities

• Publishing regular ACYA updates and reports on social media and website;
• Developing key documents such as event handbooks and the ACYA Partnerships Prospectus;
• Supporting event delivery through pre- and post-event promotion that summarises key points of interest;
• Recruit, lead, and develop the Publications team; and
• Represent ACYA in public forums, when required.

Requirements

• Time commitment of ~10 hours/week;
• Experience in copywriting and document layout;
• (Required) Fluency in English;
• (Preferred) Fluency in Mandarin; and
• (Optional but preferred) Experience managing across cultures, particularly with respect to the Australia-China relationship.
