It aims to provide Chinese interested in Australia and/or learning English with an enjoyable and useful way to improve their knowledge of and engage with Australian society.

The 2013 edition is co-published by the Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) and the University of Sydney China Studies Centre (CSC), and for the first time has been rendered completely bilingual by the ACYA Translation Sub-Committee and peer-reviewed by academic staff of the CSC.

The Journal provides a high-quality and high-visibility platform for students and young professionals to publish academic essays, opinion articles and creative work pertaining to some aspect of Australia and China. It is a unique publication that plays an important role in giving a voice to Australian and Chinese students and young professionals in the Australia-China academic discourse, covering a wide variety of topics and writing styles.

DEADLINE – Murdoch University School of Law: Graduate Certificate in Chinese Law

Murdoch University, in partnership with East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, is offering a Graduate Certificate course in Chinese Law.

Key points:
Australian citizens may apply to defer the tuition fees through the FEE-HELP scheme.

Undergraduate students may also be eligible under the OS-HELP loan scheme for financial assistance since they are undertaking some of their course of study overseas.

However to be eligible, students must have a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average, enrol in a minimum of three units in the program and enrol in one unit in Semester 1 on their return.

Students must have completed a minimum of 24 credit points of law to apply for OSHELP.

The Graduate Certificate in Chinese Law attracts Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

Australia-China Youth Dialogue
