Meet the Team!

This is Violet Li, a Social Media Officer at ACYA. I have three years of experience in Australia’s media industry, working as a digital journalist for a nationwide local news group. I hold a Master of International Journalism degree from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of English Linguistics degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Ever since young (I am still young), I have had a strong interest in languages and using languages to represent reality, which explained my pathway. I am highly skilled in storytelling, and over the years, I have been exploring ways to present stories that matter. I am still honing my skills to better achieve that. I also have extensive experience in cross-cultural student organisations. I served as vice president of an AIESEC branch in Shanghai in 2018/2019 and facilitated many overseas volunteer experiences. I love reading, binging TV shows, travelling, tennis, pool, and dogs.
