Women’s Network State Manager

The Women's Network State Manager is an Appointed Position on the ACYA National Executive reporting to the Events Director. The Women's State Manager is primarily responsible for the creation and delivery of projects tailored to female students and young professionals within their state.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organising ACYA Women’s Network events that promote professional development such as Panels, Wellbeing Workshops and the Hives Leadership Bootcamp;

  • Oversight and contribution to ACYA social media and marketing;

  • Liaising with ACYA's partnerships team to raise funds for WN events;

  • Recruit, lead, and develop a team of WN Officers to support the portfolio; and

  • Represent ACYA in public forums, when required.

Requirements

  • Time commitment of ~10 hours/week;

  • Demonstrated event management experience;

  • Experience managing stakeholder relations and partnerships;

  • Ability to work well managing small teams and long-term projects; and

  • (Optional but preferred) Experience managing across cultures, particularly with respect to the Australia-China relationship
