Media Officer

A Media Officer is an appointed position on the ACYA National Executive and is a member of ACYA's Media Team reporting to the Media Manager.

Media Officers are primarily responsible for the execution of ACYA’s social media presence on English and Chinese language social media platforms. This includes graphics, short-form videos, and captions. Their objective is to maintain ACYA’s social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, WeChat, and Xiaohongshu.

Primary Responsibilities

• Help manage the ACYA National Instagram account;

• Help manage the ACYA National Facebook account;

• Help manage the ACYA National WeChat account;

• Help manage the ACYA National Xiaohongshu account; and

• Facilitate knowledge sharing of chapters about social media strategy and national ACYA media strategy.

Requirements

• Time commitment of ~3-4 hours/week;

• Ability to work well within small teams;

• Demonstrated understanding of social media engagement; and

• Experience in media and/or visual design.
