Mackenzie Lang
Chief Executive Officer
Mackenzie Lang is the CEO of the Australia-China Youth Group, previously serving as the 2024-25 Australia-China Youth Association as National President, 2023 National Secretary, 2022 Careers Director, and as Content Officer for three consecutive Australia-China Emerging Leaders Summit before that. He is deeply passionate about Chinese history and culture, having studied late Qing and early Republican history at the University of Queensland, and has had the good fortune to repeatedly travel to China since his first visit in 2013. He joined ACYA in order to contribute to the bilateral relationship and help provide opportunities for Chinese and Australians travelling and studying in each other's countries.
In his time as CEO Mackenzie has driven a series of sweeping reforms, streamlining our organisational structure, expansion of our events and initiatives including the Women’s Network and the merger of ACYA and ACYPI into a single entity to better represent the Australia-China space.
