ACYA is always looking for the talented youth in the Australia-China space to take up the helm of Australia’s only youth administered NGO actively seeking to promote and develop the Australia China bilateral relationship.
ACYA is also proud to be directly involved as a member of the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan Steering Committee.

Since its inception in 2008, ACYA’s National Executive has included members from a diverse set of backgrounds, including, but not limited to

  • New Colombo Plan scholars;
  • Prime Minister’s Endeavour Awards scholars;
  • Chinese Government Scholarship recipients;
  • Australian Law Award recipients; and
  • a Sir John Monash scholar.

Executives have come from a variety of young professional / student backgrounds in business, government and academia and various industries,
each bringing with them the perspectives and experience that have helped to make ACYA the leader in youth administered NGOs that it is today.

  • ACYA Announces 2018 AGM

    The Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) is excited to announce details of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2018.

    The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the ACYA National Executive Committee will be held at 10am CST (1pm AEDT) on Sunday, 4 February 2018. Attendance is by linked conference call. Attendance at the AGM is open to all of the National Executive, Chapter Executives, and ACYA members in both countries and is highly encouraged. To reduce the number of connections, ACYA members in the same city or chapter are encouraged to gather in a communal location and share a computer to join the call. To join your local gathering, contact your local chapter president and register your attendance below.
